Daniel Kenney, Esq. is Of Counsel to Morris E. Fischer, LLC.    Daniel Kenney is currently a principal attorney with DK Associates, LLC, a Chevy Chase, Maryland law firm.   Mr. Kenney is an experienced labor and employment counsel with a proven track record of aggressive litigation and high quality representation for employees, executives and business employment law clients.  Mr. Kenney’s practice focuses on: whistle-blower litigation, (e.g., securities industry bounties, state and federal false claims act, federal and state whistleblowers in qui tam actions), wrongful termination, retaliation, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, wage and hour, bonus, investment agreement disputes, employment contracts, discrimination (race, age, disability, national origin, religion, sex and sexual orientation) and other areas of employment/investment law.  

Prior to starting DK Associates, LLC, Mr. Kenney worked as an Associate at Tully Rinckey PLLC, where he represented both federal sector and private sector employees in a broad range of employment law matters. In that position, Mr. Kenney gained extensive experience in representing clients with discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, qui tam, and wrongful termination claims.

Mr. Kenney was formerly an associate with Morris E. Fischer, LLC. In that position he represented clients in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Secretary of Labor, and various adjudicatory bodies.  Mr. Kenney also acted as second chair to Morris Fischer in several high profile trials.

Daniel’s expansive employment law experience covers a broad swath of state and federal laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, False Claims Act (FCA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Whistleblower Protection Act (WPA), and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
